Musical Director - David Barnard

Music plays an important part in the life of St Mary's. There is a sung Eucharist on Sundays and Choral Evensong once a month. St Mary's Choir has an extensive repertoire and performs in concerts and other special services during the year and is in demand as visiting choir at Cathedrals and Minsters. They have just returned from an August visit to sing in Hereford Cathedral.
St Mary's also plays host to many and varied musical evenings and concerts. Among events was the second performance of 'Requiem in Blue' by Harvey Brough, the son-in-law of John & Cleo Dankworth. This memorable evening was presented by Wingfield Arts who regularly use St Mary's as a venue for their concerts.
STOP PRESS. Our Choir CD's 'The Lord Bless and Keep You' and 'Hark! A Thrilling Voice' now available.
